U.S. Senator Jay Rockerfeller, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Intelligence Committee this week revealed that Vice-President Dick Cheney took deliberate action to prevent a previous investigation into the false intelligence used to justify starting the War in Iraq.
I’m sure such actions are not without great risk and great consequences.
Vice-President Dick Cheney is a war-monger, a war-profiteer, a liar and, in fact, based on evidence given in the well-noted ‘CIA Leak Case,’ he is also a traitor, exposing our own government agents and CIA networks to danger — all for the same reason Senator Rockerfeller has identified: Covering up the deliberately falisfied reasons used to start the War in Iraq.

As promised, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi has accomplished the Democratic “New Direction for America,” besides & in addition to the dealing with the contentious issue of a Troop Surge into Iraq that Bush dropped in her lap like a hot potato on the first day of the new Congressional session since the massive defeat of Republicans in November 2006.

After years of a Congress that did absolutely nothing but cut taxes for the rich and waste more money and lives in an unprovoked war, in 40 hours we saw the rasing of the minimum wage, the lifting of the ban on stem cell research, allowing Medicare to negotiate for lower prescription drug prices (rather than get overcharged by fixed rates the Republicans wanted), cut the cost of loans for college students, cut the ridiculous tax breaks and subsidies given to Oil Companies who have been making more money than any other business in America, also instantly enacted all the 9/11 Commission Recommendations to make real security a fact.
She not only deserves a place in our hearts for all this public and good for our country she led through the House, but these accomplishments will also be added, I’m sure, to her place in our USA history.
