Martin Luther King, Jr. (entered on his holiday)

Although the listing of Martin Luther King, Jr. here should seem obvious, his annual holiday today was a reminder of his life and work. Considering his status it is more a humble gesture here rather than a need to honor an already established great man.

One of the news — historic — items talked about in the news this weekend was about the building of his monument in Washington, D.C. They said it was going to be between the Jefferson Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.

I guess that placement just about says it all.

Thank you Mr. King for helping to lead one of the great movements in American history, if not the greatest.
