McCain the Monster
The latest ad campaign and smear tactics of the McCain campaign that started this week are disgusting. He’s calling Obama a friend of a “domestic terrorist” from the Sixties…a guy who was out of wack when Obama was eight years old. Next we’re expected to hear about Obama’s former crazy preacher. Then it will be Obama associating with crooked real estate deals in Chicago.
It’s disgusting. WYSIWYG – Obama is none of these things. While McCain is a womanizer — who confessed to war crimes and begged for special treatment in that Hanoi prison (while others tried to escape or died first under torture) –a womanizer, a confessor of war crimes to the enemy, a crap shooter, on the edge of senility and now: A man without honor.
McCain is a villain.

This site, above, tells the truth and gives facts about the last banking scandal — in which John McCain was involved. The guy at the center of the scandal went to jail. McCain got officially censored by the Senate.
The public paid the bill for $128,000,000.00 (More or less).
Yet now, today, — as mentioned — McCain starts his campaign to slander Obama with false guilt by casual association, trying to link Obama to the actions and ideas of a Sixties anti-Vietnam radical. Obama was eight years old at the time of this radical’s actions.
It’s disgusting.
It’s thus nonsense to make such an association! It should also be clear that Obama has not been advocating bombing anything or revolutionary thoughts: Instead he’s been doing the right thing of advocating voter registration, adherence to the Constitution and diplomacy before starting pre-emptive unnecessary wars.
Bush & Cheney ARE War Criminals (doing torture, alone, makes that true). The Republican Party led the way into the black hole of the Middle East Wars. The Republican Party sold us all out to special interest.
o, let’s get real. We can’t let these warmongers and liars continue to rule our country. We need to DEFEAT REPUBLICANS!
Defeat them now, defeat them in the next elections, defeat them till their party doesn’t exist anymore.
No phony ‘guilt by association,’ is needed to link McCain to the last banking scandal — it’s documented; it’s real.
McCain’s policies of de-regulation and eliminations of watchdogs was key to allowing the banks get away with this current scam.
We can’t let this dirty politics go down. In truth, it’s worse than the bank scams — it’s a scam and mockery of our politics.

Mr. Billionaire Wants No Strings Attached
VILLAIN: TREASURY SECRETARY PAULSON
Partner & Previous Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs.
member of the International Monetary Fund Board of Governors
This economic bailout expected to be voted on today or tomorrow in the U.S. House of Representative is equal to the cost that would be entailed in ten years (10 years!) more of the War in Iraq.
He is clearly a villain because he approached Congress practically with the pressure of an extortionist. Give me the money now, he demanded. Give me the money without any supervision, he demanded. Give me the money and allow me to spend it without any regard or current proper procedures for spending government money, he demanded. Give me the money and do now allow any Court consideration of how it is used. Give me the money, let me spend it anyway I want, including giving it to foreign banks. (!)
The formal language for all these omnipotent demands was this:
FROM THE LEGISLATIVE PROPOSAL FOR TREASURY AUTHORITY
TO PURCHASE MORTGAGE-RELATED ASSETS, PUBLISHED SEPT. 20,2008
The Secretary is authorized to take such actions as the Secretary deems necessary to carry out the authorities in this Act including, without limitation:
> Entering into contracts…without regard to any other provision of law regarding public contracts.
> Designating financial institutions as financial agents of the Government.
> Sell, or enter into securities loans, repurchase transactions or other financial transactions in regard to, any mortgage-related asset purchased under this Act.
> Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.
In addition to such omnipotence giving this man such a vast amount of money it’s clear it’s like giving the fox money to guard the chicken house: He is part of the problem. He is part of causing the problem.
All in all, we’re expecting good to come from a failed President getting money from a failed Congress to be given to a failed Wall Street, as the sole dictatorial decisions of a Wall Street Baron.
Besides that, not only is there any particular reason to ask for such a staggering amount of money but Paulson also makes it clear there is no guarantee this will solve the problem — Enough money to conduct a war for ten years and not even sure it will solve the problem!
This is robbery. This is grand theft. This is Wall Street Socialism. This allows these bankers to always be walking away with their profits while the government picks up it’s losses.
INHERENTLY, TOO, THE QUOTES OF PAULSON, BELOW, SHOW THAT HIS ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS IN THE PAST WERE 180-DEGREES OPPOSITE TO THE TRUTH, TO THE REALITY OF THE CRISIS.
In Spring 2007, Secretary Paulson told an audience at the Shanghai Futures Exchange that “An open, competitive, and liberalized financial market can effectively allocate scarce resources in a manner that promotes stability and prosperity far better than governmental intervention.”
In August 2007, Secretary Paulson explained that U.S. subprime mortgage fallout remained largely contained due to the strongest global economy in decades.
On July 20, 2008, after the failure of Indymac Bank, Paulson reassured the public by saying, “it’s a safe banking system, a sound banking system. Our regulators are on top of it. This is a very manageable situation.”
